Use : Lithium bromide is a highly efficient water vapor absorber and air humidity regulator. Lithium bromide at a concentration of 54% to 55% can be used as an absorption refrigerant. In organic chemistry, it is used as a hydrogen chloride remover and a bulking agent for organic fibers (such as wool and hair). In medicine, it is used as a hypnotic and sedative. Furthermore, it is used in the photographic industry, analytical chemistry, and as an electrolyte and chemical reagent in certain high-energy batteries.

Packing : 25kg/bag or cardboard drum, or packaged as required.

Application Areas

Lithium bromide has a wide range of applications, mainly including the following aspects:
1. Absorption refrigeration: Lithium bromide plays an important role in absorption refrigeration systems. This system uses thermal energy as a power source and achieves refrigeration through a circulation system of lithium bromide solution and water. Its working principle includes heating to evaporate the water in the lithium bromide solution to form steam, and then cooling the steam and liquefying it through a condenser to release heat, thereby achieving refrigeration.
2. Air conditioning system: In modern buildings, lithium bromide solution is widely used in air conditioning systems. Compared with traditional compression air conditioners, absorption air conditioners have the advantages of low noise, low energy consumption, and low maintenance costs, and are particularly suitable for large commercial buildings, hospitals, hotels and other places. In addition, absorption air conditioning systems can also use a variety of renewable energy sources such as industrial waste heat, geothermal energy, and solar energy to improve energy utilization and environmental protection.
3. Dehumidification device: Lithium bromide solution is also widely used in dehumidification devices due to its strong hygroscopic properties. Especially in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and electronic manufacturing, keeping the air dry can effectively prevent products from getting damp, mildewed or corroded, and ensure product quality.
‌4. Pharmaceutical and chemical industry‌: In the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, lithium bromide solution, as an efficient desiccant, can maintain a dry environment for drugs and chemicals and prevent physical or chemical changes. In addition, lithium bromide is also used in certain specific pharmaceutical preparations, and its safety and effectiveness have been verified. ‌5. Other applications‌: Lithium bromide solution also plays an important role in other fields. For example, in marine engineering, it can be used as a desiccant in seawater desalination equipment; in laboratories and research institutions, it is used for drying precision instruments.
